Pesticides Control Board Warns Against Sale of Expired Chemicals

The Pesticides Control Board has warned agro dealers across the country to avoid selling poor quality and expired pesticides to farmers during this harvesting season.
Acting Registrar for the Board, Lesten Banda today cited that farmers have worked hard in their fields, and there is no justification for selling them products that could damage their crops.
Banda also advised farmers to carefully check the expiry dates on pesticides before purchasing and to avoid buying from unlicensed traders.
