Woman hires hitman to murder husband for marrying second wife (Watch Video)

NIGERIA – A disturbing case of alleged murder-for-hire has come to light, involving a woman accused of contracting an assassin to kill her husband after he married a second wife and allegedly abandoned her and their children.

The incident was brought to public attention through a viral post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where a video shows the suspects giving detailed confessions about their roles in the crime.

According to reports, the murder occurred several months ago, but only surfaced after an in-depth police investigation led to the arrest and public parading of the suspects.

The alleged hitman, identified as Dolapo, recounted his involvement, stating:
“I just got out of prison around March this year. I had nowhere to go and was hanging around. One day, this woman approached me and said she needed someone to punish her husband.”

He continued:
“I asked her what he did, and she said they had been married for over 18 years, but the man recently married another woman and stopped taking care of her and the children. That’s why she wanted to punish him.”

“I asked her what kind of punishment she had in mind, and she said she wished he could die.”

The woman later admitted to orchestrating the murder. In her confession, she said:
“I killed my husband because he offended me. I called Dolapo to kill him for me. When he returned, I called him again, and we did it.”

The revelation has triggered widespread outrage online, with many users condemning the act and calling for justice.
