Wisdom Mpinganjira Named First 2025 Winner of Upgraded Pemba Award

Pemba Rubber Stamps has renewed its partnership with Mighty Wanderers FC for the Player of the Month award in the 2025 football season, increasing the monthly sponsorship package from K1 million to K1.2 million.
During a signing ceremony held in Blantyre, Managing Director Dave Pemba who also owns Pemba Driving School announced that this year’s winners will not only receive K300,000 in cash, but will also have the option to use the remaining K900,000 for truck driving lessons.
“Football is a short career, and we are determined to help players build a future beyond the pitch,” said Pemba, whose company has sponsored the award since 2023.
This season, Pemba Rubber Stamps will invest a total of K13.8 million in the initiative.
Striker Wisdom Mpinganjira became the first recipient of the award for April, after netting three goals and providing three assists.
Wanderers director Limbani Magomero, alongside head coach Bob Mpinganjira, thanked Pemba Rubber Stamps for their continued commitment to supporting both the players and their future careers.
