Information reaching this publication indicates that Deputy Minister of Local Government, Unity and Culture, Joyce Chitsulo, was involved in a road accident last night along the M1 Road while returning to Lilongwe from official duties in Mzuzu.
The Mwanza West legislator confirmed the incident in an interview with Nation Online, reassuring the public that she is in good health despite the ordeal.
According to Chitsulo, she sustained a minor fracture and received medical attention at Mzuzu Central Hospital, where she was treated and later discharged.
Authorities are yet to release further details regarding the cause of the accident.
