Organizers of the much-anticipated “Finale Ndi Yemwe Akupita” social weekend at LUANAR Bunda Campus have dropped young musician Ajuh Guffi from the performance line-up following public backlash on social media.

According to a post made on the Bunda Eye Music Facebook page, the campus entertainment team has resolved not to allow the young artist to perform at the upcoming finale. The decision follows a wave of criticism from students and social media users who expressed discomfort with having a young performer grace the stage of what is usually a highly energetic and mature event.

Ajuh Guffi, whose hit songs “Bwera” and “Chedwa” have recently gained traction, was one of the first artists announced for the event, alongside Zeze, Jetu, and others.
