Balaka Police Arrest Five for Suspected Crimes

Phalula Police in Balaka District have arrested five individuals suspected of committing various crimes in the district.
According to Balaka Police Station spokesperson, Gladson M’bumpha, the arrests were made on the night of Wednesday in the areas of Chisoka, Phalula, and Likudzi following an intelligence-led operation.
During the operation, police recovered various items believed to have been stolen, though investigations are still underway to identify the rightful owners.
The suspects, who are aged between 23 and 50, are expected to appear in court soon to answer charges related to their alleged offences.
