Kalindang’oma Encourages Patriotism in Immigration Services

Director General for Immigration Office, Macloud Anamchuma Kalindang’oma, has encouraged all immigration senior officers to mentor the new officers in serving the public with integrity and avoid corruption.
This has been said today on 30th May 2025, during the pass out parade for over 354 newly trained Immigration officers at Limbe Police Training School in Blantyre.
Kalindang’oma emphasized that new officers must uphold discipline, work hard and remain patriotic. They should also not involve themselves in any form of corruption and misconduct during their work.
According to Kalingang’oma, government must also review and update the country’s immigration laws to reflect the current challenges.
Minister of Homeland Security, Ezekiel Ching’oma was also present at the event, and he condemned the new officers and encouraged them to save the country with dedication.
