Needy Students Aid (NeSA) on Friday donated notebooks, pencils and pens to learners at Namitamba LEA School in Machinga District.
This happened after one of the NESA members working with Mission Rabies Malawi took photos of the grass-thatched school and shared it with the group members.

Speaking on behalf of NeSa Vice President, Abundant Haswel urged Malawians to join hands in supporting the school.
“We are here today because one of our members on other duties visited the school and shared with us the condition of the school and we thought it wise to move in and support with the little we have.
“It’s not that we have a lot but it’s just the heart and am urging some Malawians out there to join hands with us and build a good structure here,” said Haswel.

“This donation has come at a right time as it will motivate learners to school coming to school in large numbers,” she said.
She also appealed to well-wishers to help in constructing an office, procurement of office materials plus learning materials.
The school is located in Lipende area in Machinga and the school has an enrollment of 303.
