Fuel Shortages Temporary, Says MERA

The Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) has acknowledged that some petrol stations across the country are experiencing delays in fuel supply, but has advised the public not to panic.
In a statement, the authority assured the public that the situation is temporary, adding that fuel companies are actively working to resolve the issue.
Meanwhile, MERA has appealed to fuel purchasing groups to avoid panic buying and to refrain from spreading false information.
