Malawi Flames Arrive in South Africa for 2025 COSAFA Cup

Malawi’s national football team, the Flames, has arrived in South Africa ahead of their participation in the Hollywoodbets COSAFA Cup 2025, which is taking place in Bloemfontein.
The team landed this afternoon at O.R. Tambo International Airport and is expected to begin final preparations before kicking off their group stage matches.
Malawi has been placed in Group B, alongside Namibia, Angola, and Lesotho.
The Flames will begin their campaign tomorrow, facing Lesotho, before taking on Namibia this coming Saturday, and wrapping up their group fixtures with a clash against Angola on June 10, 2025.
Expectations are high as the team looks to make a strong impression in the regional tournament and possibly contend for the title.
