The Registrar General office has taken the  Press Corporation  Limited (PCL) to court,  ordering the company to pay their former workers of People’s Trading Centre (PTC).

In 2022, PLC sold People’s Trading Centre to Tafika Holdings Limited but workers were not paid their salaries before the company was sold.

Frank Chikwakwa, one of the representatives of the workers said they were disappointed for not being paid but now they are excited as the case is moving forward.

In 2020, the court ordered that PTC should  close its company and  the court did not agree with the idea of selling it to Tafika Holdings Limited because the company had alot of debts.

The case has been scheduled to enter into court on 30 September this year.
