In a dazzling display of love and romance, Tonderai Banda, CEO of Entertainers Promotions, surprised his fiancée Tahera with a brand-new Mercedes Benz upon her arrival from the United States.
The grand gesture, witnessed by stunned onlookers at First Capital Bank in Blantyre, saw Tonderai personally handing over the car keys to his visibly emotional partner, in a scene straight out of a romantic movie while cherished with love song and delicious food from Max & Sherry Dine and Lounge.
This isn’t the first time the entertainment mogul has made headlines for his romantic flair. Back in February 2024, Tonderai made a surprise proposal to Tahera in New York, USA, a moment that warmed hearts across social media.
The love story continued with a lavish engagement ceremony on 28 July 2024 at Kumbali Lodge in Lilongwe, where Malawi’s musical sensation Onesimus Muzik serenaded the couple with his most beloved love ballads.
The ceremony, a vibrant celebration of love, was attended by a host of celebrities and dignitaries, including renowned musician Dr. Namadingo and the CEO of Amaryllis Hotel Blantyre, among others. Tonderai, known for not holding back when it comes to expressing affection, even showered Tahera with U.S. dollar bills, an act that added extra glamor to the already glittering occasion.
During his speech at the engagement, Banda sparked conversation across social media platforms by urging men to “start investing in their women.” He cited his own relationship as an example of the rewards of emotional and financial investment, proudly stating, “I transformed Tahera into beautiful Tahera.”
