Tamia Ja Case Returns to Court

Social media personality Hannah Jabes, known as Tamia Ja, is expected in the Senior Resident Magistrate’s Court in Lilongwe today at 11 a.m. for a ruling on whether her case will be dismissed.
Jabes is accused of disclosing another person’s HIV status online without consent. Her lawyer, Stanley Chirwa, filed a dismissal request, the outcome of which will determine if the case proceeds to trial.
The case has gained widespread attention due to Jabes’ online popularity and the sensitive nature of the charge.
