South Africa Deports 490 Malawians for Immigration Violations

South African immigration officials have deported 490 Malawians for violating the country’s immigration laws and regulations.

The country’s immigration department confirmed the development, stating that the group, comprising 472 men and 18 women, arrived in Malawi on November 8 through the Mwanza Border Post.

According to the department, most of the deportees are from the districts of Mangochi, Balaka, Machinga, and Thyolo.
