KUHeS Alumni Demand Swift Justice for Slain Medical Lecturer Dr. Victoria Bobe

The Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) Alumni Association has urged police to move swiftly in ensuring that justice is delivered following the tragic killing of Dr. Victoria Bobe, a medical doctor and lecturer who was shot dead at her home on Monday night.
In a statement, KUHeS Alumni Association President Pemphero Mphande said the news of Dr. Bobe’s murder has deeply shocked former students and colleagues across the medical community.
“Our eyes will be on the Malawi Police to ensure that those who took her life are apprehended and brought to justice,” the statement reads.
According to police reports, Dr. Bobe was shot by armed robbers who broke into her residence in Chigumula, Blantyre. Until her untimely death, she served as a lecturer at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences.
