Man Arrested Again for Burglary and Theft in Kasungu

Mphatso Wisiki Mussa, 28, who was recently released from prison, has been arrested again in Kasungu District on suspicion of burglary and theft.

Deputy Police spokesperson Chifundo Nedi said Mussa was apprehended at Kamboni in the Kawamba Chiefdom area during a police raid following a rise in burglaries and thefts.

According to Nedi, the suspect confessed to breaking into houses and stealing various items, including cell phones, valued at K1.8 million.

Wisiki Mussa hails from Mbuzi Village under Nthunduwala Chiefdom in the district and is expected to face charges in court.

Authorities have urged communities to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities.
