Judiciary Spokesperson Mlenga Mvula granted bail

Judiciary Spokesperson Mlenga Mvula was on Monday granted bail by Blantyre Magistrate Court.

He was released on a bailbond with a K25,000 surety cash and K100,000 noncash and is expected to be appearing before ACB every fortnight.

He will appear Tuesday at the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for caution statement.

Mvula was arrested Friday by the ACB on alleged charges of obtaining money by false pretence and abuse of office involving K10.7 million.
