Five Male Students Found in Girls’ Dormitory

Police in Kenya have arrested five male students who wore girls’ school uniforms and entered into the neighboring girls’ school called Otunga Girls High School in Bungoma.

Four of them are from a boys school called St Mary’s Kibabi High School which is near the girls’ school while one of them is from another school called Good Shepherd ACK Secondary school.

The five were arrested on Monday after they were discovered in girls’ dormitory at around 3 a.m.

The girls were on strike over a directive by their principal that all students should not score below C in the end of term examinations that was scheduled to start on Monday.

The striking girls broke windows and surveillance cameras hence the boys could not be seen upon entering the premises.

Police were called to the school to calm the unrest that was caused by the striking girls and in the process they discovered the five boys in the dormitory.

Police were yet to establish the time the five boys sneaked ton the girls’ school, but they are being held in custody for interrogation.
