NICE Aims at Minimizing Null and Void Votes

National Initiative for Civic Education (NICE) has embarked on sensitizing initiative, aimed at mobilizing people to go out to vote in large numbers and minimizing null and void votes.

Speaking with Faceofmalawi reporter, District Civic education Manager for the Trust in Chiradzulu, Kondwani Newa said sensitizing people on voting process will minimize null and void votes.

“Sensitizing the masses on voting process and good governance, will help citizens to vote accurately thereby minimizing null and void votes,” he said.

Apart from this, the trust is persuading citizens to demand transparency and accountability from their leaders they plan to vote into office in the forthcoming polls.
