Lucius Banda hospitalised in South Africa

Renowned Malawian musician Lucius Banda popularly known as Soldier has been hospitalised at a hospital in Midland, South Africa.

He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit having been admitted on Sunday.

Lucius who is one of the successful musicians in the country confirmed earlier yesterday that he was in hospital after his blood pressure (BP) went up.

“It’s true I am in hospital right now and actually in the Intensive Care Unit(ICU) but I am fine today compared to the first day I was being admitted,” said the singer in hospital.

He said he was in South Africa under the invitation of a friend who wanted him to perform at their private function.
