Usi, Ngumuya join anti-Ansah demos in Blantyre

United Transformation Movement (UTM) Vice President Michael Usi has joined the demonstrations aimed at forcing Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Chairperson Dr. Jane Ansah for failing to manage the May 21 polls.

Usi joined the demonstrations organized by Human Right Defenders Coalition (HRDC) at Upper Stadium together with Allan Ngumuya.

The demonstrations in in Blantyre are being led by HRDC executive members McDonald Sembereka and Billy Mayaya.

Meanwhile the demonstrators have clashed with suspected Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) cadets at Chichiri Trade Fair Grounds in the commercial capital Blantyre.
