DPP Takes ‘Restoration of Justice’ March to Mzuzu

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) supporters have taken their restoration of justice march to the Northern region to protest against the Constitutional Court ruling which nullified May 21, 2019 presidential elections.

Supporters of UDF have also gathered at Katoto Secondary School ground in Mzuzu to take part in readiness for the restoration of Democratic justice march.

Meanwhile Businesses have closed in the city as the DP supporters are demonstrating.

It is also reported that Mzuzu residents started petting stones at the demonstrator’s showing their dissatisfaction with the presence of DPP cadets.

Meanwhile, Minister of Health Jappie Mhango’s car was chased by the angry residents.

Before the march a car belonging to Chitakale plantations truck was seen ferrying supporters to Mzuzu to take part in the march.
