Three Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) members, Gift Trapence and MacDonald Sembereka, have been arrested.

The Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) member Mada Mwenda confirmed yesterday the arrest of their two members, Gift Trapence and Macdonald Sembereka. The two are currently at Area 3 Police Station.

Mwenda says HRDC is yet to establish the reasons behind their arrest but has since called on authorities to release the two activists.
