Malawi’s coronavirus suspect test negative

Spokesperson of the ministry of health, Joshua Malango, says preliminary results of tests on samples from a person who, a few days ago, was in contact with a confirmed corona virus case now in Australia have come out negative.

Malango says the first results are raising suspicion that the patient, now in Australia, may have contracted the novel corona virus after his visit to Malawi.

The issue came out in the latest report from the Public Health Institute of Malawi dated March 23, 2020.

The person from Australia flew in through Chileka Airport in Blantyre.
