Vendors in Zomba protests Mutharika’s 21 days lockdown

Vendors in Zomba this morning took to the streets to protest against the 21 day lockdown declared by President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.

The development came barely hours after another protest in Limbe and Ndirande Townships in the commercial capital Blantyre.

The vendors want President Mutharika to reverse his decision on the matter.

Zomba Central Market is one of the markets that the City Council has said will be closed for the duration of the lockdown.
