Information reaching Faceofmalawi indicates that one of the newly confirmed COVID 19 patients has died at Kamuzu Central Hospital.
Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed the development in a statement posted on its official facebook page.
According to the Ministry, the patient had other underlying health problems.
This brings the number of deaths from the pandemic to 3.
