Ex-UDF NEC Member Joins UTM

Former National Executive Committee (NEC) for United Democratic Front (UDF) Yusufu Kusweje has joined United Transformation Movement (UTM) led by the state vice president Saulos Chilima.
Kusweje was welcomed by UTM’s vice president Dr. Micheal Usi , UTM’s patron Noel Masangwi among others.
When joining the party Kusweje cited poor leadership and lack of direction in he party as the reason.
UDF is currently on an electoral alliance with the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) ahead of July 2 fresh presidential election.
