Man Shares Mother’s Nude Pictures On Social Media To Blackmail Her Over Property

In a shocking incident, a 50-year-old man allegedly shared nude pictures of his elderly mother on WhatsApp in an attempt to blackmail her for the ancestral property.

The shameful incident took place in the Kota district of Rajasthan. Police have now arrested the accused identified as Deepak Tiwari.

According to a report in the news agency PTI, the nude pictures of the woman were shared in the WhatsApp group having relatives of the accused. Police said Deepak wanted his mother to hand over the ownership papers of their ancestral house.

Deepak has been sent to judicial custody after he was produced in the court of the additional chief judicial magistrate (ACJM).

According to Dadabari police station in-charge, Tarachand, the dispute over the property arose after the victim’s husband died 20 days ago. The disputed house is located in Shivpura area under Dadabari police station limits.

On May 13, the 75-year-old mother of the accused in her complaint to police said,

“I was performing a ‘hawan’ for my late husband when my son (accused) came and sprayed some substance on me. I started feeling itchy and rushed to the bathroom to take a bath.”

It was then the accused allegedly clicked pictures of his mother and forwarded them on their relatives’ WhatsApp group.

The woman’s relatives informed her about the incident the next day. The woman approached the police and filed a complaint. The police arrested Deepak on May 16.

According to police, Deepak attempted to blackmail and defame his mother to pressurise her for handing over the ownership of the house to the accused.

The accused has been booked under sections 509 A, 509 B (outraging a woman’s modesty ) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 67 of the IT act.
