A couple found shot dead in their room

Sicelo Mzukwini 27 and his girlfriend Noxolo Makhanya 26 from the Ezingeni area Umbumbulu ,south of Durban were sitting in their room .

Family members over heard gunshots coming from outside in the middle of the night ,but didn’t know they were coming from the couple’s room .

In the morning ,the family went to check on them they discovered the bodies of the two lying in a pool of blood .

They both sustained multiple gunshot wounds .

So far the family is still shattered about their deaths and don’t understand why they were killed .

Sicelo was unemployed but wasn’t involved in any crime ,they were in a relationship for more than two years .

The girlfriend used to visit sicelo very often, they were a loving happy couple and never had problems before .

Noxolos father said ,he has no clue why her daughter was killed and doesn’t want to talk about the incident .

It is still not clear who killed the couple and the motive is still unknown ,both families are still puzzled.

Police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala confirmed a case of murder is being investigated by Umbumbulu police .
