Citizen For Transformation (CFT) has called on government to investigate the alleged abuse of Malawi Enterprise Development Fund (MEDF) by the past immediate Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) government.
According to CFT publicity secretary Chimwemwe Maunde, they have gathered information regarding the matter.
According to Maunde, the past DPP administration issued loans to some of its supporters and were told not to repay the loans.
Maunde has since asked government to develop a strategic plan that would free MEDEF from political interference.
