Death has been announce of a grandmother to Madam Mary Chilima, Amama Mary Vito Mtuwana Kamoto.
Mtuwana Kamoto died on Sunday at the age of 84.
This has been confirmed in a statement released by United Transformation Movement (UTM) made available to faceofmalawi.
“Darkness has befallen the UTM family as we have lost our Mother, Grandmother and Aunt, Amama Mary Vito Mtuwana Kamoto, Madam Mary Chilima’s grandmother who has gone to be with the Lord.
“May the Almighty Lord be have mercy on her soul and grant it internal peace,” reads the statement in part.
Meanwhile funeral details are still sketchy..
