British singer, Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn have announced that that they have welcomed a child.
Ed Sheeran took to Instagram. to announce Lyra’s birth. Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you,” Sheeran said in his first Instagram post since December 2019.
“Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter – Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.
“We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back, Ed x”
Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn have a long history together.
The two met at school when they were just 11 years old.
They got in touch again in 2015 and started dating before Ed proposed in December 2017.
The pair got married in January 2019.
Cherry shared the spotlight with her singer husband for his music video “Put It All on Me,” where they were seen in their London apartment cuddling and dancing.
The couple were already crushing hard on each other in high school before they reconnected again and this time it was fireworks.
Ed was commended for not marrying anyone in the spotlight and choosing someone who is genuine and who knew him before all the fame and fortune.
