The Phalombe First Grade Magistrate’s Court has sentenced an 18 -year-old woman to two years imprisonment with hard labor for stealing a newly-born baby.

The court, through state prosecutor, Inspector Shadrach Wisiki, heard that Esther Brighton committed the offence during the night of August 29, 2020 at Holy Family Mission Hospital.
