Man Murders Younger Brother, Then Fools Police With ‘Disease’ Theory

 In a shocking incident reported from the national capital, a man murdered his younger brother and later tried to pass it off as death due to a deadly disease.

However, the man’s bluff was called out when cops got suspicious about the man’s death. The accused man claimed his brother died of liver cirrhosis.

According to a report in Times of India, the deceased never went underwent any sort of treatment for liver ailment. The police later sent the victim’s body for post-mortem and it was revealed that the man had suffered damage to the liver apart from having injuries on his head. The victim has been identified as Surender Kumar.

The police later confronted the accused and he allegedly confessed to killing his brother.

The matter came to light after authorities at Safdarjung Hospital informed the police at Okhla Industrial area about a patient’s mysterious death.

The family members of Surender told police that the deceased was suffering from liver disease for some time and fell unconscious. Later, they admitted him to the hospital where he died.

In a similar incident reported from Andhra Pradesh, an 80-year-old woman was allegedly hacked to death with an axe by her younger son after a land dispute. The incident took place at Annaram village in Rompicheral Mandal on September 12.

Police said the victim, identified as Kondeti Tirupatamma, used to live with the son of her elder son. She owned one-acre land which she had decided to gift the land to her grandson as she lived with him. However, her younger son, identified as Kondeti Yedukondalu, did not agree with her decision.

Yedukondalu, in a drunken state, arrived at his octogenarian mother’s house on Saturday and attacked her with an axe, leading to her immediate death. He fled the house as she fell to the ground.
