ZAMBIA – Mulenga Mowa recounts how difficult it was for her and her husband Benjamin Mowa when they learnt that his kidneys were both damaged and he needed a transplant.
She volunteered to donate one of her kidneys, in keeping the vows “For Better or Worse” to see her husband recover.
Mrs Mowa, a teacher by profession, was, however, worried about the outcome of the surgery in India and could at times occupy herself with thoughts of what would happen if both of them died in that country.
