Malawi’s populations to hit 32 million by year 2048 – NSO

The National Statistics Office (NSO) has released a report projecting that the country’s population will hit 32 million by the year 2048.
It is among a set of 14 thematic reports launched in Lilongwe based on the 2018 population and housing census.
The reports are highlighting several issues concerning gender, education, health, and households living conditions among others.
The gender report for instance, indicates that one in every three households in the country are headed by women.
