Kalizango’ma to release “Nayi Nkhata Ya Maluwa” Album Next Year

By Orchestra Kamanga

After successfully releasing his single poem titled Nayi Nkhata Ya Maluwa during Mother’s day which falls on October every year, Malawian celebrated Poet Sylvester Kalizang’oma is slated to release his second album early next year.

Speaking in an interview, Kalizang’oma said he will release his album next year due to government restriction because of Covid-19 pandemic like social distance, which limits 100 people on social gathering and because of that he cannot release the album during rainy season as many fans cannot patronize his shows.

On his Mother’s Day Poem single “Nayi Nkhata Ya Maluwa” Kalizang’oma who is popular with Unkalindanjii Moyo said he came up with the poem to thank Malawians for the support they render to him.

“I received a lot of text messages form Politicians, reverends and Mothers for my poem during Mother’s Day. People say it was the poem of the year and some even wrote on my Facebook page recommending the poem,” he said.

He further said people can buy the poem through Whatsapp and payments can be made on MO262, Airtel Money or Mpamba at K1, 000 only.

The poem was recorded at Biz Graphic studios in Blantyre and the video shot in Chiradzulu and Blantyre.
