Angry congregants from Namitete Parish on Sunday disrupted a mass presided over by the parish priest whom they accuse of embezzling church funds.
The development came barely two days after the parishioners received a communique from Lilongwe City Council accepting their request for demonstrations against the said priest’s behaviour.
According to information at hand, the parishioners are accusing the priest of misappropriate church funds meant for various development projects.
The congregants were also angry with the parish priest behavour, saying his behaviour is compromised.
