Bushiri’s bail hearing adjourned to Wednesday

Bail hearing of Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and Prophetess Mary Bushiri has been adjourned to Wednesday, November 4, 2020.

Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) Church Public Relations Officer Ephraim Nyondo confirmed of the development in a statement posted on Bushiri’s facebook page.

“Please be informed that the bail hearing of our spiritual leaders has been adjourned to Wednesday, 4 November 2020 for bail ruling at 10:00 hours (CAT).

“We thank you for your prayers and also for your unwavering resolve to always stand with our leaders,” reads in part the statement.

Bushiri and his wife are answering charges with fraud and money laundering.

The two were arrested on October 20, 2020 by the Hawlks and the case has been adjourned for five times now.
