Nkhotakota Woman Battling For Life After Being Assaulted by Her Husband

A 30-year-old woman is battling for her life at Nkhotakota District Hospital after being severely assaulted by her husband identified as Hussain Alifu Magaya.
The victim was discovered last evening in a bush where Magaya had dumped her thinking that she was dead.
Confirming the incident Nkhotakota Police Spokesperson Williams Kaponda said Magaya has been arrested.
Kaponda further added that Magaya is expected to appear in court soon to answer charges of attempted murder.
