Chisale failed JCE exams

Suspended Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) Executive Director Gerald Chiunda has revealed that bodyguard to former President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, Norman Chisale failed Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) examination.

Chiunda said this when he was testifying in a case where Chisale is being accused of impersonating a person named in a certificate and giving false information to a person employed in the public office.

In his testimony as the third witness in the case, Chiunda said records show that Paulosi Chisale sat for Junior Certificate Education (JCE) in 1995 and failed.

Some of the grades he obtained are Bible Knowledge F, English F, Geography F, Chichewa D.

Pythias Hiwa sat JCE in the same year at the same school with Chisale and passed.
