Police in Chitipa are currently looking for culprits behind the murder of a 47-year-old businessman in the district.
According to reports, the deceased, identified as Lyton Sikana was dead in his own car which was found parked at a certain lodge in the district on Tuesday.
The deceased was operating business as a money agent for Airtel and TNM at Chitipa Trading Centre.
He was reported missing on Saturday, December 5, 2020 until he was found dead on Tuesday, December, 9, 2020.
It is reported that a Postmortem conducted at Chitipa District Hospital established that the death was due to loss of blood secondary to a deep cut on the neck.
