Malawi On UK’s African Countries Travel Ban List

Malawi has become the 12th country to be included on England’s African Countries travel ban list as most African countries are experiencing the second wave of the virus.

England imposed a travel ban for a number of African Countries as a way of halting the spread of the novel Coronavirus of which some African countries are experiencing the new strain of the virus.

Following the ban, non-Britons will not be allowed to enter Britain.

The countries, South Africa, Namibia, Malawi, Mauritius, Zambia, Lesotho, Angola, Mozambique, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Eswatini and Seychelles will be restrictions as reported by the British media which added that the ban will also be applied to travelers who passed through the said countries.

UK’s health secretary Matt Hancock has described the new Covid-19 strain in South Africa as worrying hence the decision to impose the travel ban.

However, the Britons will be allowed home but will have to undergo a mandatory self-isolation for ten days.
