K2 TASO donates Oxygen Concentrators to Kasungu District Hospital

Kasungu District Hospital has today received a boost of six oxygen concentrators to the tune of nine million kwacha courtesy of K2 Tigwirane Manja Aids Support Organisation in the district.

K2 TASO Executive Director, Peter Minjale said the donation is to support efforts of saving lives in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic at the facility after himself survived from the disease after he was admitted at the same facility.

Director of Health and Social Services for the hospital, Dr Emmanuel Golombe, who received the donation, said the oxygen concentrators were a timely relief to the facility which needs a lot of oxygen to treat critically ill Covid-19 patients.
