Govt should bail out Malawi College of Health Sciences not just arresting politicians

Malawi College of Health Sciences is sailing through troubled waters as govt is failing to fund the college despite it being a govt subverted institution.For the past three 3 months the college has been struggling to keep the students at the college and that resulted into early sending of students to Easter holiday.

The college will open again on April 1 and it is yet to be seen if they will be improvements following the increased budget to parasital institutions from 19 billion to 22 billion

Recently the Malawi Health Equity Network and National Organisational of Nurses and Midwives Of Malawi blamed Govt for paying millions as compensations to fired Govt top officials while Malawi College Of Health Sciences and CHAM institutions are in deep financial woes.

Students have vowed that if the situation continues they will hold a vigil at parliament during budget meetings coming shortly and also petition President Banda.

Malawi College of Health Sciences trains middle level health professionals and has three campuses namely;Lilongwe,Blantyre and Zomba
