MEC Commissioners Jean Mathanga, Linda Kunje fired

Government has fired embattled Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec) commissioners Jean Mathanga and Linda Kunje.
This has been confirmed in a letter signed by Secretary to the President and Cabinet Zangazanga Chikhosi
According to Chikhosi, the decision is upon the basis that the Supreme Court of Appeal found the two to be incompetent in its judgement on May 8,2020.
