S*x worker murdered in Mzimba

A Malawian s*x worker has been reported brutally murdered at Ekwendeni in Mzimba by unknown assailants.

According to reports, the woman who has been identified as Jean Tembo, was a s*x worker who used to ply her trade at Ekwendeni township.

On Wednesday night the woman was booked by a customer who planned to spend the night with her at Ekwendeni Council Renthouse.

However, it is not clear what happened in the course of the night, only that on Wednesday, morning, the body of the woman was discovered near Ekwendeni CCAP Primary School by learners who were going to school.

Tembo, 20, hailed from Mhlalokwe Village, Traditional Authority (T.A) Mtwalo in the district.
