Mzuzu Youth Association has given Government through the ministry of Youth 21 days to commence construction of the Mzuzu Youth Centre failure of which they will hold mass demonstrations.
The youths who have summoned the Ministry of Youth says time for fake promises is over; rather they want action from Government.
Chairperson for the Association Mwandida Theu disclosed this at a press briefing in Mzuzu.
She also cited that it’s time for Government to stopped taking young people for granted, as campaign period and time for politicizing the construction of the Mzuzu Youth Centre is over.
Meanwhile Theu has also shown disappointment in the Anti-corruption Bureau for failure to launch an investigation into the abuse of funds meant for the construction of the Centre for over 10 years now.
