Ntcheu District Children’s Parliament Meeting Starts Today

Ntcheu district is expected to convene a two day Children’s Parliament meeting beginning today and ends tomorrow on Friday.

48 young parliamentarians from Traditional Authorities Masasa and Ganya, as well as Sub- Traditional Authorities Mkutumula and Tsikulamowa from the district are expected to attend the meeting.

Save the Children Malawi Project Manager for Ntcheu, James Gausi, whose organization has facilitated the meeting has confirmed about the meeting.

Gausi said that the organization anticipates resolutions from the two day event will inform duty bearers on how the needs of young people in the district could be delivered.

Meanwhile, Embassy of Ireland has also funded the meeting
