Police in Phalombe are keeping in custody Godfrey Namandwa for allegedly killing Mabvuto Naphazi in the district.
The incident occurred yesterday at Mgona village in the district.
According to reports, Namandwa Killed Naphazi over money that the suspect borrowed from the deceased.
Namandwa allegedly committed the crime when Naphazi, on his mother’s behalf, asked for the money back from him.
The suspect is also answering murder case which he allegedly committed in 2019 and is on high court bail.
The money which he borrowed from the deceased’s mother was meant to be used for his bail bond.
